Did you know that acupuncture is at least two thousand years old?
Acupuncture (from Latin acus, "needle" (n.), and pungere, "prick" (v.) is
the Ancient Oriental Method of using fine needles on patients to allow the
body to repair itself and maintain its own health.

It has been used for many centuries on billions of people and is actually
part of a broader scope of practice called Traditional Oriental Medicine.
